Saturday is ‘Free Comic Book Day’, which is an event put on by DC Comics each and every year.
Since the even started it has grown to include nearly 2,000 comic book stores in North America, Europe, Australia and Singapore.
During the day fans can pick up a free comic book at participating stores, and even sometimes meet some of the writers and illustrators.
Ken Lashley, an illustrator who lives in the GTA, spoke to 680News about the event.
“I’m signing in Hamilton and I’m just taking pictures for fans, anything they want, anything they want me to draw I’ll just draw right there,” Lashley said.
